About

I am a field geologist and sedimentologist and stratigrapher currently teaching as a Visiting Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University. I am keenly interested in integrating multiple data types across scales to understand depositional histories of basins, and fluid flow processes through sedimentary basins and along fault systems. I seek to incorporate new and exciting technologies, from satellites/drones to geochemical analyses, with traditional field techniques to come to a holistic understanding of the problem at hand. These technologies and methods also offer opportunities in geoscience education to engage students and enrich the learning experience.
